Intelligence Squared Debate features Kim Campbell

London, UK.  Kim Campbell participated in one of the Intelligence Squared debates.  Ms. Campbell took the role of one of the speakers against the motion: "Free-market capitalism is so 20th century."  The lively debate took place at the Royal Geographical Society in front of a sold-out crowd on October 29th, 2009.  Other speakers included Ian Bremmer, Paul Mason, Jean Pisani-Ferry, Vince Cable MP, Stephen King and the debate was chaired by Rory Bremner.

Intelligence Squared debates aim to raise the level of public discourse on challenging issues and provide a forum for intelligent discussion, grounded in facts and informed by reasoned analysis.  They also engage the live audience as active participants who ask questions and decide which speakers have carried the day by voting on the motions both before and after the debate.
