Council of Europe Summer University Presentation

Strasbourg, France.  Former Prime Minister Campbell was a featured presenter at the Council of Europe's Summer University on July 6, 2009, her third appearance there.  The Summer University is the annual highlight of the Council of Europe schools of political studies, which aim to train the next generation of political, economic, social and cultural leaders in transition countries.  Ms. Campbell was asked to speak along with Mr. Rainer Steckhan, Chairman of the Administrative Council, Council of Europe Development Bank.  Their session focused on the consequences of the crisis of the international financial system on the functioning of democratic political systems and was chaired by M. Bernard Boucault, Director of the National School of Administration - Strasbourg.
