Canada Supports the Iranian People

Paris, France. Frmr PM Campbell was a featured speaker at the annual conference of the National Council Resistance of Iran (NCRI). Ms. Campbell's speech focused on what Canada is doing today to help support the drive for Democracy in Iran. She explained how the Canadian Parliament had designated April 30 through May 7 Canada's Iran Accountability Week. She cited remarks by Prime Minister Harper during which he looked forward to a day when the "Iranian people will be free of tyranny and oppression...."  She also mentioned the "Rouhani Meter" a website that fact checks Iranian President Rouhani's actions against his promises when he entered office. The website is a collaboration with the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto.
