Struggle Against Labor Trafficking of Women

Little Rock, USA. Former PM Campbell served as an initiator in the session titled, "Sharing responsibilities for an effective struggle against labor trafficking of women" at the Club de Madrid' Annual Conference: Harnessing 21st Century Solutions: A Focus on Women. The conference was convened at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.

Order of British Columbia Investiture Ceremony

Campbell Receives OBC

Right Honourable Kim Campbell was invested into the Order of British Columbia by Premier Christy Clark along with eleven other extraordinary British Columbians. Lieutenant Governor Steven Point said of the award, “As our Province’s highest honour, the Order of British Columbia is our way of acknowledging the outstanding achievements of our citizens."

Ms. Campbell felt so honored to be recognized by her home province, and very much enjoyed the investiture ceremony in the capital city, Victoria, where she was surrounded by family, friends, and longtime supporters.

25th Annual Testimonial Dinner

Prime Ministerial Perspectives

Over one thousand leaders from all sectors of Canadian society gathered to help celebrate the Public Policy Forum's 25th Anniversary at their Annual Testimonial Dinner on May 3rd in Toronto. Ms. Campbell was honored alongside her fellow living former Canadian prime ministers Joe Clark, John Turner, Brian Mulroney, and Paul Martin. (Also honored, but unable to attend was Jean Chretien.)

CBC's George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight

Gastown?

George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight ventured West to do some shows from Vancouver, and although Ms. Campbell wasn't there at that time, she did tape a segment for them ahead of time. In the video below, she explains how B.C.'s largest city avoided being officially named after a guy called 'Gassy Jack'.
